Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a quote or book a shipment we collect your name, email address, phone number, pickup and delivery locations, vehicle details, preferred dates and payment information needed to process a deposit.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites we receive your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and referring URL, through server logs and analytics cookies.
- Communications. If you call, email or text us we keep a record of the conversation so your coordinator can manage your shipment.
How we use it
- To price, book, dispatch and deliver your shipment and to communicate with you about it.
- To share the information a carrier needs to pick up and deliver your vehicle: your name, phone number, addresses and vehicle details.
- To respond to questions, resolve claims and provide customer support.
- To send service updates and, if you have agreed, marketing messages. You can opt out at any time.
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.

By checking the consent box on a quote form you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from Big Apple Car Shipping about your quote and shipment, such as pricing, carrier assignment, pickup and delivery updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe and HELP for assistance, or call (347) 970-7087. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Sharing
We share personal information only with: the motor carrier assigned to your shipment; service providers who process payments, host our systems, send messages or provide analytics on our behalf and under contract; and authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing communications, by emailing quotes@bigapplecarshipping.com. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights, which we will honor as the law requires. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
